What site checks happen before installation starts?

The local builder evaluates slab flatness, drainage gradient, and ground level. Indoor builds also require a ceiling clearance check before any layout planning begins. These checks confirm the site can support a regulation court and flag any base corrections needed before the frame is ordered.

Can a general contractor handle the full padel court build?

A general contractor can manage groundwork, but court-specific requirements, slab flatness tolerance, glass panel alignment sequence, and indoor ceiling clearance, need a builder who knows the build order. Skipping those checks is the most common reason a frame sits uneven or glass panels need repositioning after the turf is down.

What happens if I delay fixing a drainage or slab problem?

Standing water under artificial turf breaks down the base layer over time. In freeze-thaw regions, water trapped in the sub-base expands in winter and shifts the slab, which then misaligns the steel frame. A drainage correction before the build costs far less than repouring a slab after the structure is up.

Is an indoor padel court build different from an outdoor one?

Yes. Indoor builds require a ceiling clearance check as the first step, if the clear height is marginal, the layout plan is adjusted before any slab work starts. Outdoor builds prioritise drainage gradient and freeze-thaw slab assessment, which are less relevant inside a controlled structure.
